I AM She 2011 is back again with more glitz and glamour.  Wadhawan Lifestyle Retail Private Limited (WL) and Tantra Entertainment Pvt. Ltd have come together to present the most stunning event of the year. The association aims to bring back the Miss Universe crown when the winner of the I AM she 2011 will officially represent India on the international arena.

After it was well received last year, in its second year, I AM She pageant will prove to be a more gala affair. It has been conceptualized by Sushmita Sen, I AM She, the official preliminary to the 2011 Miss Universe pageant, embodies Sushmita’s vision for the spirit of the Indian woman and personifies the combination of beauty and intelligence that defines the 21st century winners of the Miss Universe pageant.

Twenty young beauties have been handpicked from metro cities as well as small towns of India  to grace the stage at the finale of I AM she 2011, to be held on July 15 2011.They all  will have a chance to emulate the success of Sushmita Sen, India’s very first Miss Universe crown winner.

I AM She 2011 will be an engaging event for the young Indian beauties. It will break all language barriers with a format that allows the contestants to express themselves in any language they are comfortable with and will be aided by interpreters.

Talking about the pageant, Sushmita Sen, who will also mentor the contestants, said, “I AM She is a world-class event that has not only met with, but set international benchmarks. The contestants are receiving training from the industry’s best advisors. Pooja Makhija has been keeping a check on the nutrition levels of the girls, where as, Nupur Shikhare is the fitness expert attempting to create divas from raw beauties.

She has also, tied up with New York Film Academy and Milan Marangoni Fashion School to avail free scholarships for the winners.  Playing the role of a fairy godmother, Sushmita wants the winners of the pageant to get an all round exposure and where the world is at their feet.The musical duo, Salim -Suleman has created a special anthem for the Wadhawan Lifestyle I AM She 2011. The anthem focuses on what it takes to be a winner in life keeping your basic values intact.

Sushmita Sen has the support of the bollywood fraternity and will have names like Aditi Gowitrikar, Jackky Bhagani and Joy Mehta in the judge panel.
