This European model has her eyes set in doing it just right to make her mark in the Indian film industry. Saidah Jules, known for making waves in the modelling industry if off to a great start in her acting career.
Having made a dream debut in films, the girl is on an all time high.Saidah made her presence felt in the Yash Raj Film, Pyaar Impossible. She’s worked with bollywood’s big stars, Priyanka Chopra and Uday Chopra in Pyaar Impossible and enjoyed working with them. "Pyar Impossible was a very nice film. I did not have a big role there but it was fantastic experience that
really helped me a lot professionally. Priyanka Chopra and Uday Chopra are really cool and it was fun working with them and with Jughal Hansraj as well. I was very happy that I did it.”
Next in her kitty is Right ya Wrong, directed by Neeraj Pathak, which is going to be a different genre for her to experiment with. She is very excited for her role in the film. "I like my role a lot in the film, it’s a comedy role and it gives a funny touch to the film. I don’t want to talk a lot about it and don’t want to say more, you should really watch it.”
She’s following the steps of a good actress and has become the director’s actor in the film. “In Right ya Wrong, I had amazing experience of working with the director Neeraj Pathak. I really like the way he works with actors and how he explains everything about acting.”
Coming a long way, Saidah has tried her hand at both modelling and acting. She is a part of the reality series called ‘Fact Supermodels’ which involves a group of models being groomed by a group of mentors to create a niche for themselves in the modelling world. She finds the world of reality programmes challenging and interesting as one has to present their true self’s to the world. “I think after this experience, I have really grown a lot in my work. I suggest that everyone should do a reality show if they get an opportunity, because its an amazing "school" and a learning process.”
She suggests to the upcoming models and new comers that they should have the right focus and must believe in hard work and achieving things by working hard and working towards it. It involves efforts and hard work and personal growth. For Saidah, being professional is one’s attitude towards oneself, towards the way one does their work.One must focus on being professionally good more than on expecting it from others.
Saidah believes life is a never ending treasure of experiences and surprises.
She follows the mantra of believing in herself and doing what her heart says. “My definition of life does not contain words such as mistakes. I feel whatever we do; we learn from it, it’s an experience. Life is always changing and we always grow. There may be many things in my life that I would do differently and may be after 10 years I would do things differently from now on as well, but whatever we do, it’s an experience, a lesson, I would say. For me, where you go wrong is when you don’t follow your heart and simple moral values.”
We ask her what kind of a guy she would want to date. “I would love to go on a date with a guy I like and care about and he definitely has to be a gentleman and should have same feelings towards me. Whether he is from the film industry or any other different field, it really doesn’t matter. I will never go on a date with someone just because he is famous and has loads of fans.”
Saidah loves India as much as she loves her acting. “India is a country where I feel happiness. India means to me much more than modelling, acting and work. It’s a magical country where I feel at home and where I want to do a lot and to create magic.”
