She is beautiful, smart and gorgeous. Meet Sushrii Mishra, the pretty girl who has everything going for her. Having won the Asian Supermodel India 2010, Sushrii is thrilled about the opportunities that are yet to come her way. Talking about her experience at winning the 'Model Star Award' at Asia Model Festival Award 2011, she says. “It was my first red carpet event and everything was like a dream. My friends and family were proud that I was representing my country. When I won the title, it was a very proud moment. The paparazzi and the flashing cameras just added to the dream. I am thankful for it. Insha’Allah! I consider it as my biggest achievement till date.”

About her moment of glory at the Asian Supermodel India 2010, she shares, “It was an amazing experience. I got such a beautiful opportunity to learn about the Chinese culture, meet new people and make friends. I also learnt a new language. I was so proud to be representing India. I would say only a few people are lucky to get an opportunity to represent India at the global level.”

She further adds, “It reinforced into me how to win the hearts of people and taught me a very important lesson of just enjoying the entire competition and not letting it affect you.”

 Sushrii is currently pursuing her graduation in applied psychology from Delhi University. She believes that modeling was a destiny’s call. She says, “Modeling happened to me by chance.  A coordinator liked my pictures and gave me my first assignment, which was a campaign shoot for a Jewelry brand in Bangalore. I was thrilled and that was just the beginning.”

She is also passionate about horse riding, swimming and dancing as well.  This young girl’s belief in herself and her never give-up attitude is going to take her places.

According to her, it’s the right confidence and the attitude that makes a good model. She says that everybody is beautiful but not everybody can be a model. She also adds, “I believe in the motto: To keep swinging!  No matter what, one should believe that some day would be your day.”

 Reminiscing about her first photo shoot she recalls, “My first photo shoot was with Rahul Dutta and it was a day of self-discovery for me. The little tips and tricks that he taught me and the way he made me comfortable in front of the camera is something I will never forget.”

 Every photographer has had something new for her. She adds, “ Every photographer has something new to teach you. I have enjoyed working with all of them. I would love to be shot by all the top photographers. But working with Fadil Barisha would be a dream for me.”

 She is living her dream of being a model and wants to continue it. She believes in trying out different avenues of life. “Life is all about constant changes, if I get some other opportunities, which are equally good, and makes me fall in love with it, then why not.”

Talking about her roles models in the industry, she reveals, “I have always been a huge fan of Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen.”
