This Delhi girl started designing at an early age. Her mother is an artist and father is in the army. It was after doing three years of theatre while she worked for Raza Hussain that she moved to designing. With professional training in design from Esmod International, Paris fetched Urvashi opportunities to assist fashion moguls including Marcel Marongiu, Lolita Lempika & Issey Miyake. Urvashi would love to design for supermodel Laxmi Rana, “because she was my debut model and she is very professional” Her work reflects the art of balancing various techniques that embrace the grandeur of design. Uncluttered silhouettes, innovative cuts and interplay of colors come alive in Urvashi’s creations fusing the realms of ethnic with the contemporary.
